Introducing the One4Salmon Partnership Summit
Collaboration with Impact
The One4Salmon Partnership Summit is the first event to convene representatives with the full range of perspectives in the Snake River basin who share the goal of creating a sustainable and thriving economy while protecting salmon.
The One4Salmon Partnership Summit seeks to rally stakeholders across the basin - tribes, fishers, farmers, businesses, and policymakers - to showcase innovative solutions, launch collaborative efforts, and accelerate the breaching of the Lower Snake River dams.
The Pacific Northwest stands at a pivotal moment. Wild salmon runs, the lifeblood of our rivers and a cornerstone of our ecosystem, face dwindling numbers due to the impassable barrier of the Lower Snake River dams. They also provide energy, irrigation for farmers, and the ability to transport wheat upstream.
The One4Salmon Summit aims to mobilize stakeholders across the basin – tribes, fishers, farmers, businesses, and policymakers – to tackle this crisis head-on with a 12-month timeline for action to save the iconic PNW Wild Salmon populations.
Purpose
Collaborate on common ground to save the iconic PNW wild salmon and Southern Resident Orca populations while also supporting communities, farmers, and economies for a cleaner future for generations to come in the NW region.
